About

Matt Dalton is a dedicated trial attorney whose practice focuses on criminal defense and personal injury matters throughout North Mississippi and the Mississippi Delta. He primarily focuses on representing individuals facing a wide range of criminal charges, from misdemeanors to serious felonies, in both state and federal courts. Matt also advocates for clients who have been injured due to the negligence or wrongdoing of others.

A seventh-generation Mississippian, Matt earned his Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Mississippi College in 2015. He went on to receive his Juris Doctor from the University of Mississippi School of Law in 2018, where he served as Managing Articles Editor of the Mississippi Sports Law Review.

Matt is active in several professional organizations and was most recently elected to serve as Director of Northern District II for the Young Lawyers Division of the Mississippi Bar. He was also appointed to the Executive Board of the Bar’s Criminal Defense Section, where he serves as Vice Chair, and to the Bar’s Professionalism Committee. His involvement in these leadership roles reflects his dedication to the legal profession and to the Mississippi communities where he lives and works.
