My dad is 76 years old and has never even had a traffic violation. He comes often from Florence, Alabama to spend time with me, his daughter, and my family and dogs, which are Goldendoodles. A neighbor happened to be walking her Pomeranian and had a mile-long leash, and my dad accidentally left the garage door open, and it was an accident at best. The lady made absurd accusations that my 76-year-old dad purposely allowed my dog that was in my yard out, and he 'ran' to basically assault her and pull her down the street by her hair. My dad was very distraught concerning these accusations, and I came across Matt Dalton and called to meet with him after she had 14 police officers, animal control, fire trucks, ambulances. Insisted that my Goldendoodle attacked her dog, that my dad dragged her down the street by her hair. The dog citations were immediately thrown out and completely dismissed in court, she filed an assault charge against my dad and had the police handcuff him and take him to jail when all he tried to do was keep her out of the way and protect the dogs. Matt Dalton is a skilled, informed, and knowledgeable attorney that calmed my dad and reassured him that he would most definitely bring justice to his case. He is competent and he sincerely cares! He went above and beyond for my dad. He was willing to not charge my dad if it happened to escalate. He was patient with me because I was mad, to say the least, concerning the injustice and lies. Matt stayed in constant communication with us, even after hours and in between court, calling on his personal phone to take great care of my father. Matt presented to the court, as it went to trial and stood up for my dad. I’ve never seen or experienced such a passionate, kind, and caring attorney, and he really felt my dad’s pain and fought for him!
